Mission Statement
AECVS intends to inform, support, develop and represent the interests of the voluntary sector in Annandale & Eskdale.
Latest News
Annandale & Eskdale CVS has moved!
The AECVS office has moved to the ground floor level of premises at 72-74 High Street, Lockerbie. The HandyVan/Small Repairs & Home Support Service (SRHSS), which is managed and delivered by AECVS, has also located there. Annandale Transport Initiative (ATI) joined us too and they are operating from the first floor.
We see the move as an exciting “fresh start” and hope the more visible, centrally located premises will allow us to better serve our members and our communities. We hope you will look in to see us sometime soon for a visit. We will be adding a used book/CD/DVD section to our office and would appreciate donations.
We will still be offering our traditional services: assistance with funding, good governance training, independent examination of accounts, help with constitutions, charity law and committee training. We can also offer help and advice with the new Scottish Charity Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) application if your organisation needs assistance. Of course we will still offer photocopying, faxing and typing services.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
